The Problem
The site needed to reinforce their core business values traditional, fun, and creative. The site also needed to distinguish Laural’s Boutique from other e-commerce retailers by emphasising their highly curated inventory of hand picked specialty items.

Goals
1. Focus on the story that the products have
2. Bring the website to the main target audience 
3. Track the amount of traffic the website gets

For this project we were provided with a brief to design a brand new e-commerce website for Laural’s Boutique, a budding antique and memorabilia shop out of the Midwest.

The main target audience for the shop was anyone interested in the resaling space. The product was meant to appeal to a older audience but also appeal to a younger generation.

User Personas were based on the target audience that would be using this product.

We then had to take out research and decide on how the user would go through the informatoin on the website. It was important to focus on the featured items section where users would find out the intimate story these items tell.
